CareerWorks/WIOA
Ongoing | Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm | Project for Pride in Living (PPL)
A federally funded employment program with training opportunities, WIOA can support you attending an employment training program for your intended job/career goals and eventual placement. Obtaining employment is the main focus of WIOA, so this is a program for people who may need a certain skill/certification or job training which enables them to qualify for their intended job goal. For example, if you want to become a truck driver and do not have a CDL license, which is a requirement for truck driving, WIOA can help pay for you to go to CDL training and licensing. Training is external to PPL, meaning participants go off site (to the training provider) for training. Career Specialists are assigned to work 1:1 with those who are enrolled. Join now!
